William Vincent Cory

William Vincent Cory, 36, from Columbus, OH passed away on September 18, 2021. He was born in Conshohocken, PA on November 11, 1984, to loving parents, the late William “Butch” Cory and Christine Cory. William is preceded in death by his father, paternal grandmother Rosemary (Loren) Lloyd, maternal grandparents “Pop-pop” Thaddeus (Shirley) Jablonski. He is survived by his mother Christine (Curtis Walton) Cory, children: Colton Wade and Makiyah Marie, siblings: Dakota Sanchez, Melanie Sanchez, Chandra Lloyd, and Charity Jacobs, loving partner Kimberly Castor, and many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephew, and friends. As a young boy Will was full of pranks and embraced every opportunity to make someone laugh. He loved his family with a fierceness and was loved just as much in return. As he grew, he was often found tinkering under the hood of a freshly waxed car, doing favors to help family and friends, and held a variety of jobs that allowed him to become versatile in his many skills. Becoming a father was Will’s biggest dream and he loved his young children with every fiber of his being. When William entered heavens gates that Saturday evening, he was greeted by so many of his lost loved ones and it is likely a dance party ensued from there with his Gram playing Motown and Will spinning her around the clouds in laughter and delight. He will be incredibly missed, and his memory will remain alive and strong through the stories shared by those he left in the living.
