William Lloyd Watson

William Lloyd Watson, age 81 of Springfield, TN and formerly of Caldwell, OH, died Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Arbors of Delaware in Delaware, OH. Lloyd was born June 25, 1940 at home in Linton Township, OH to the late William Max and Anita Mae (Hampton) Watson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marianne D. (Felver) Watson. He was a 1958 graduate of Roscoe High School, Coshocton County, Ohio, and a 1964 graduate of The Ohio State University. He was an Air Force Veteran, worked many years at NCR in Cambridge, OH, at Tappan in Mansfield, OH, White Consolidated in Dalton, GA, and Electrolux in Springfield, TN. He was an avid gardener, particularly of heirloom tomatoes. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Marlys A. and Patrick Michael Bradshaw of Worthington, OH; son and daughter-in-law, Mark W. Watson and Heather Linton of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Beatrice, Gus, and Eloise Watson, all of Columbus, OH; brothers, Larry (Joyce) Watson and Robert (Cinda) Watson, both of Coshocton, OH; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service and scattering of the ashes will be held July 19th at 1:30pm at Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, OH 43202.
