William Kenneth Bailey

William (Bill) Kenneth Bailey, age 63 of Columbus, Ohio passed away December 19, 2024. He was born on January 17, 1961 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of John H. Bailey Jr, and Belvetta (Jordan) Bailey.

Bill graduated from Hicksville High School, class of 1979. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are siblings Deidre (Steve) Oliver of Herriman, UT; John (Mitzi) Bailey III of Bryan, OH; Christopher (Rachel) Bailey of Santa Clara, CA; Sara Freid of Davis, CA and Andrew Bailey of San Francisco, CA. 

 Bill was a very attentive and loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He always had a joke to share with them. He was the “story teller”, they would love to hear his stories, and he always made everyone laugh. He would spend hours on the phone with his brothers, getting caught up after family moved away. 

 Bill will be missed but never forgotten as he brought brighter days, love and laughter.

 Bill loved music, the outdoors, and sports. He was the biggest Notre Dame Football fan in Ohio. He loved his pets, especially his lab, “Lucy”. Bill gave in death as he did in life, as he was an organ and tissue donor.
