Vicki Mangus, age 62 of Alexandria, Ohio, went to heaven on September 8, 2024. Vicki was born on February 26th, 1962 in Columbus Ohio to the late Alan & Delores Taggart. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents Alan Taggart & Delores Taggart (Keller) and her brothers Ronald, Mark, and Earl Taggart. 

Vicki graduated from Watkins Memorial High School in 1980. Vicki worked as a records administrator for Plaza Properties for many years, until she went on to a job closer to home with Coughlin Ford in Johnstown. Vicki was well known for her love of flowers and having a “Green thumb” as she would save plants, and always had them throughout her house. She always planted flowers around her house every spring and loved watching them flourish through the following months. She loved watching her humming birds on the back patio daily, and bathing in the sun during summer months. Vicki was always the life of a party, and always knew what to say to cheer people up. She was a great friend to many over the years, and was very well loved.

Vicki’s survivors include her Husband Kenneth Mangus of 26 years, her daughter Amber Shortridge of Pataskala, her son Ryan Shortridge of Newark, and her beloved grandson Kenneth Shortridge of Alexandria, her sister-in-law Teresa Cady of Westerville, her Sister-in-law Lisa Kovach of Westerville, her brother-in-law Ron Mangus of Westerville, and her brother-in-law Jack Mangus of Westerville, and numerous family and friends.

Vicki Mangus will be cremated at Leaf Cremation of Ohio. In compliance with Vicki’s wishes there will not be a funeral service held, however there will be a celebration of life event held at a later date. (Date is TBD) In lieu of any flowers being sent to the family, they have asked for donations to be made to the American Kidney Fund, a non profit organization, EIN 23-7124261, address of 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite300, Rockville MD 20852.
