Vickey Lynn Tipton

Vickey Lynn Tipton passed peacefully February 1, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born July 10, 1953 to the late Violet and Tom Stickel. Vickey is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Greg Chase. She is also survived by her pride and joy and reason for living, Darrick (Cortlyn) Chase, Coleton Chase, Brody Chase and Bryce Chase; brothers, William (Pat) Stickel, Tom (Brooke) Stickel, Greg Stickel; sisters-in-law, Ruth Stickel and Vicki Stickel; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ed Stickel and Freddie Stickel. Vickey was an umpire for 25 years and was one of the founding directors of girls softball in Lancaster. She retired from Fairfield Medical Center after 28 years to be a full time grandma. Before retiring she worked third shift and babysat her grandsons during the day. She always made it a point for her grandsons to know she loved them with all her heart. Loving cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life to celebrate Vickey on Saturday March 20th at the Lancaster Vineyard Church. Family will receive guests from 4:30-6:00, celebration service will start at 6:00, and Fat Cats Pizza will be served at 7:00.
