Veronica May Cisco

Veronica May Cisco, 64, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024. She was born on September 10, 1960, in Chicago, IL, to Herbert and Mary Gilbert. Veronica was a beloved mother, sister, friend, and GG, known for her kindness, humor, dedication, and that unmistakable Gilbert charm (a.k.a. stubbornness).

Veronica found immense joy in spending time with her grandsons, selling her beloved Paparazzi jewelry, and, above all, embracing her cherished role as “GG.” Her greatest pride was her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Siobhan Hitchcock (Bradley); grandsons, Adam Hitchcock and Connor Hitchcock; her son, William Cisco (Karen); her brother, Toby Gilbert (Jane); nephews, Gavin Gilbert (Jessica) and Shawn Gilbert (Aaliah); great-niece, Gwen Gilbert; and great-nephews, Ethan Gilbert, Emmett Gilbert, and Noah Gilbert. Her family will continue to honor her memory by carrying forward her love, laughter, and spirit.

A service celebrating Veronica’s life will be held in Illinois, with details to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Lighthouse, Inc. domestic violence shelter, a cause dear to her heart.
