Tony Reitan

Anthony “Tony” James Reitan, 34, passed away on November 24, 2023, in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on September 24, 1989, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base to Konrad and Julie Reitan. He spent most of his life in Ohio.

Tony was full of life. His presence illuminated any room he walked in. He loved to make others laugh and smile, and you could always find him with a smile on his face. He loved skateboarding, snowboarding, sports (he was an excellent soccer player), camping, and amusement parks (he was always searching for the most fantastic rollercoaster with his sister). Tony spent much time with his family, traveling around the country and visiting extended family. He was also a tremendous cook who always liked to grill for his mother, and he learned most of his best grilling techniques from his father. No matter how busy he was, Tony would take time to discuss and play games with his nephew and niece. He also loved spending time having fun adventures with his best friend.

Tony, you are loved by so many people and will surely be missed.

Tony is survived by his parents, Konrad (Denise) Reitan and Julie Reitan, sister Andrea (Chris) Belanger, nephew Justin Wren, niece Gabriella Wren, best friend Jennifer Moore, grandfather Randolph Anderson, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hilde Reitan and Dixie Anderson, and his aunt Jane Littles.

A private memorial service will be held for Tony to honor his memory at a later date.
