Tony Lowe

Anthony (Tony) Moriese Lowe passed away on January 28, 2023, at Mt. Carmel Hospital surrounded by family. Tony was an amazing Father, Son, Sibling, and Friend. He was the second oldest child of nine children born to the late Sharon Lowe and Charles Fields on April 5, 1966, in Columbus, Ohio.


Tony graduated from Walnut Ridge High School, where he played football. After high school, Tony continued his education at Butler Community College in Andover, Kansas. After his time at Butler, he attended Indiana State University where he was a star football player and obtained a degree in Communications.


Tony worked for many years as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Columbus, Ohio and later became a Health Care Provider for David Dunlap, who passed away before Tony's transition. Tony was like a big brother and father figure to David, and whenever you saw Tony, you saw David. Tony was an avid traveler and loved watching sports on TV.


Tony was preceded in death by his Mother, Sharon Lowe; Father, Charles Fields Sr. Grandfather, Curtis Lowe; Grandmother, Pauline Lowe; Aunt, Marcia Lowe and Uncle, Kirk (Buck) Lowe.


Tony leaves to cherish his memory, his only child Anthony T. Lowe; (Brooklyn, New York, ) Sisters; April Lowe, Lillie, La Tonya, Danielle, Jessicas, Cliner and Willie Mae Fields, Brothers; Charles Fields, Jr. and George Fields, Special Uncle; Gregory Lowe, Aunt; Tregenia (John) Walters, Aunt in Christ; Patricia McCall-Steel, Special Cousin Tamra Lowe, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
