On Saturday, April 15, Thomas “Tom” Householder passed away at age 73, surrounded by his family.
Tom was born on November 22, 1949, in Lancaster, Ohio to Cloyd and Corda “Patty” Householder. He graduated from Lancaster High School in 1967 and attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and soon after, joined the U.S. Navy. Tom was best known for his playful demeanor, his trademark mustache and love of British sports cars, serving as a founding member of the Triumph Register of America and the foremost authority on Swallow Dorettis. He is survived by his son, Chad (Danielle), grandchildren Dylan and Autumn; brothers Mike and John, nephews Adam and Zane (Jessica); niece Sara (Roger) Doles; as well as aunts, an uncle, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Linda Boystel; and his longtime love and best friend, Susie Wood Householder.
