Thomas E. Black

Thomas E. Black, age 77, passed away on September 11, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on April 21, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to his dear parents, the late Merle E. and Vera M. (Looker) Black. 

Thomas proudly served as a Marine and valiantly fought in Vietnam. He used the discipline and leadership skills he learned in the military and applied them to his career as a brake line assemblyman at General Motors. Thomas worked there for many fulfilling years before his retirement.

He is survived by his sister, Jo-Ellen (David) Knight; brother, Richard (Shirley) Black, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will treasure his memory and cherish the ways in which he impacted their lives.
