Throughout his career in education, Terry served as a teacher at Dayton and Greenville City Schools, an assistant principal at Greenville City Schools, and a principal at Mt. Blanchard Riverdale Schools. Following his retirement from education, Terry enjoyed working in various sales positions.

Terry's unwavering faith in God was a guiding light in his life. He was a lifetime elder at Gateway Church in Findlay, OH, and cherished the moments spent worshiping at Grace Church in Sarasota, FL. Terry's love for his faith was evident in every aspect of his life, from his dedication to his family to the way he embraced and supported his community.

Outside of his professional and spiritual pursuits, Terry was passionate about singing and acting in local community theater. His favorite role was playing Kris Kringle during a production of Here’s Love. He delighted in traveling/going on cruises and exploring new places alongside his beloved wife, Janice, and the couple enjoyed many adventures together, both near and far. Terry enjoyed boating trips with family and friends, camping, thrifting, and riding motorcycles/scooters around the countryside.

Terry's love for his family was paramount, and he took great pride in his role as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He relished every opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, Sienna, Hannah, and Samuel, and his love for them knew no bounds. Terry enjoyed spending time with many special lifelong friends during trips, gatherings, and other outings. Terry also had a deep appreciation for sports, particularly Ohio State football, Cincinnati Reds baseball, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. His favorite winter destination was a villa in Sarasota, FL, where he and Janice created many unforgettable memories together.

As we celebrate Terry's life, we are reminded of a quote by Laura Ingalls Wilder- “Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I will remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don’t remember me at all.”
