Susie

Susan Lynn Purpura (Susie), 76, Pataskala, Ohio, passed away on November 5, 2023.

She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Pauline Arledge.

She was also preceded in death by; husband, Mike Purpura, grandson David Gaige Overley and brother Ricky Dickerson.

Mom loved bingo, yard sales and to just talk about what was going on at that time. But more than anything else, she loved her family and cherished spending time with them. She was a life-long server and made many friends on the east side of Columbus as it always seemed like she knew someone anywhere we went.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and the world is now emptier without her.

She is survived by her son David (Patty) Overley, granddaughters Madison, Morgan and Maesyn Overley, brothers David (Piedad) Davis of Florida and Michael (Patty) Dickerson of Kentucky. Also, multiple nieces and nephews

A private service will be held in Kentucky at a later date.

A special thanks to the staff at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala, OH, who did such a wonderful job keeping her comfortable in her last days.
