Steven Michael Rowland (age 61) of London, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his home on November 25, 2020 with his daughter, Daisy, by his side after a 23 month battle with esophageal cancer. He was preceded in death by his biological father Bobby Rowland, his mother Roberta Jane Clouse, stepfather Charles Edward Clouse, sister Pamela Sue Clouse, and nephew Michael Edward Clouse Jr. He is survived by his partner of 27 years Sherri R Willis, two children Daisy M Rowland and Lily R Rowland, and three step-children Eric A Koon, Brandon N Koon, and Dustin L Koon. In addition, he is survived by his sister Beth Clouse Brady, brother Michael Clouse, nieces Mandy Linkous and Lori Moore, and nephew Daniel Fletcher. Steven was born on April 18, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio and resided in London, Ohio for the majority of his adult life. He graduated from West High School in Columbus, Ohio in 1977 and joined the Navy on April 18th, 1977. He was honorably discharged on November 8th, 1979, after serving two years. He was very passionate about music throughout his entire life and loved to play guitar; he mostly learned playing by ear. He was very artistic and could draw about anything of which he had a picture. He enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, and exploring. Steven was very knowledgeable about various plants and animals, and he enjoyed sharing/teaching that information with others. He was quite the history buff and loved collecting old items. Steven collected anything he thought had history and held value, from arrowheads to old farm equipment, as well as old documents, books, and electronics. He was fascinated with astronomy, astrology, and Greek mythology. Some of his favorite films were science fiction and comedies. Steven was truly a compassionate and selfless man who would help absolutely anyone in need without hesitation. He took the most pride in his life with his children who were truly his reason for living. He was a great father will be missed dearly by all who loved him.
