Steven L. Kaufman

Steven L. Kaufman, of Thornville, Ohio died January 11, 2022 at his home following a brief battle with cancer. Born February 23, 1953 to the late Richard Kaufman and Beatrice Wilson Kaufman Steve was a longtime truck driver and business owner. He was extremely creative and a talented gardener. He enjoyed spending his free time working on innovative projects in his greenhouse and around the family compound including his YouTube channel, fishandworms. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Shelly Kaufman; a son, Kyle (Melinda) Kaufman; and two daughters, Kari (Eric) Hartley and Katie (Russell) Fox; grandchildren, Gage and Hannah Kaufman, Liam and Ruby Hartley and Henry and Nolan Fox; a sister Teresa (Butch) Hook; a brother-in-law, Harold (Ruth) Miller, a sister-in-law, Anne (Doug) Barrientos, many neices and nephews, and best friend Harold Shannon. Preceeded in death by his parents Richard and Beatrice Kaufman, mother-in-law, Susan Miller; father-in-law, Harold Miller and brother-in-law, Dan Miller. Per Steve's wishes, no funeral services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held in his greenhouse at a later date. In lieu of flowers, take a loved one out for lunch.
