Steve went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2024. He is survived by his parents Pastor Gary E. and Deborah K. Kirk, his brother Michael J. Kirk(Katie Polczinski) and close friend Jason Parke and many cousins, Uncle Lawrence E.(Lois)Kirk, Aunt Marilee E. Snider, Uncle Richard T. Kirk, Steve was preceded in death by his grandparents Rev. Lawrence E. and Margaret L. Kirk, Rev. Claude H. and Maxine L. Vance, Aunt Margaret E. Kirk, Aunt Carol A. Kirk and Uncle William H. Snider. 

Steve’s doctors diagnosed him with cancer on November 14, 2024, and he went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2024, Steve loved to be with his family and to be home watching his favorite football team the Raiders with a cup of coffee. Steve was employed by Frontier Electric Company; the family would like to give a special Thank You to Frontier Electric Company for being incredibly supportive during his illness. The family would like to Thank the Ohio Health Emergency Room staff of Grove City for taking care of Steve and Riverside Hospital 9th floor where they took such wonderful care in his tough times and to his Cancer Dr. Erin M. Bertino MD and Staff, Steve was home with his family on Thanksgiving and was home with his family when he passed. A special Thank You to our Hamilton Township first responders and Franklin County Sheriff’s Department. 

A Memorial Service and Celebration of life will be on Steve’s Birthday December 29th, @2:00pm in honor of his 49th birthday at Good Shepherd Community Church 210 Obetz Rd., Columbus, OH 43207. In Lieu of flowers Please donate to The Good Shepherd Community Church in Steve’s name or to your favorite Charity.
