Stephen T. Slone Obituary Stephen T. Slone, formerly of Massillon, OH, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 31, 2020 in Dublin, OH after an extended illness. Steve was born May 20, 1944 in Ashland, KY. He lead a blessed and wonderful life. He was passionate about everything he was involved with, especially the things he did to honor and glorify his Lord Jesus. Steve spent time in Florida where he help found a church. That church has grown over the years and is known as Grace Place. He was involved with the Family Youth Fellowship Program and spoke and preached at several churches and on the radio. He owned a plane that he used for mission work. He loved to travel abroad, especially in Israel, Korea and China. Steve especially loved bowling. Steve's work was as varied as his interests. He once owned a restaurant in Florida named Tasty and a tax service company in Michigan. Most of his career was spent in the propane transport industry as a driver and union representative with AGA - Linde. He also served as a safety director for the industry and for a motorcycle club. He was a member of the National Committee for Motor Fleet and was recipient of the 1980 Award of Merit. Donations in Steve's name can be given to Canton Baptist Temple, Canton, OH and/or Heartland Hospice, Columbus, OH.
