Stephen Monroe Starkey

Stephen M. Starkey was born November 9, 1948 and passed peacefully with his children by his side on February 28, 2025.

Stephen was the last child born to Grace and Everett Starkey. He honorably served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He was known for his kind heart, free spirit, and his love for animals. He liked tinkering in his garage, watching NASCAR and cooking. He could fix anything! From a simple car repair to making Thanksgiving dinner, he loved helping his family and friends.

Steve leaves behind two children, Chad and Jodi (Scott) Singer, two grandchildren, Samuel "Jack" and Zoe, his brother Gary "Mo" and sister Eva along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the coming months. In Leui of flowers, please make a contribution to Veteran Affairs.
