Stephen Queen 5/30/1965-5/16/2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen Albert Queen on May 16, 2023 at SOMC Hospice Center. He was born on May 30, 1965, in Bakersfield, California to Charles "Eddie" Queen Sr and Janet Queen. Stephen lived a life filled with laughter, kindness, and generosity. His family and friends will always cherish the impact he made on their lives.

Stephen is survived by his children, Stephen Patrick Queen, Tiffany Haney, Dustin Queen and Tasia Haney; his grandchildren; Jaidyn, Leiland, Adrian, David, Chloe, Dustin, Avery, Aries, and Ainsely; his brothers, Charles Queen Jr (Gwen) and Jacob Queen; his sisters, Theresa Glasgow (Steve), Amanda Bentley (Lorenzo), Sophia Blakemore (Garrett), Angela Queen, Roseanna Queen, and Tina Murphy (Michael); 24 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews; his ex-wife and beloved life-long friend, Denise Haney; and special friend Robyn Garlinger. He is predeceased by his father, Charles Queen Sr; his mother, Janet Queen; his daughter, Brittany Nicole Queen; and his sisters, Janet Marlene Queen, Tammie Sexton, and Mary Evelyn Queen.

Stephen was a man of many talents, a true embodiment of the saying "a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one." As a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he was always ready to lend a helping hand. Stephen's generosity knew no bounds, and if you ever wanted or needed something, he would find a way to get it for you.

Stephen's warm-hearted nature touched the lives of everyone he encountered.
