Stacy Jo Malherbe

Stacy Jo Malherbe, aged 53, of Newark, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on December 16, 2023. Born on November 20, 1970, to Pamelia Fournier and the late William Lefever, Stacy's warmth and exuberance for life touched all who knew her.

Stacy was a beacon of light in the lives of her family and friends. She was a devoted mother to her children, Brittany, Olivia, Josie, Elton, and Trenton, and an amazing grandmother to Wyatt, Addie, Lucas, Vladimir, Riley, Keeley, Rowan, and Evelynn. Her brothers, Steve, Sean, Alex, and Corey, and sisters, Sarah and Hannah, will remember her for the joy and laughter she brought into their lives. Though her father, William, and stepfather, Robert, predeceased her, the values they instilled in Stacy shone brightly through her actions and the love she shared.

Stacy loved taking an early morning walk every single day. Anyone who knew Stacy knows she had a love for Stephen King books and was always reading them any chance she got.But above all, her grandchildren were the light of her life. They lovingly referred to her as "big grandma," "g-ranny," "grannie," and "grannie pannie," titles that brought her immense pride and joy.

Her closest friends, Nikki and Kelley, were like sisters to her, and the countless hours they spent together will be cherished as precious memories. Stacy's enduring friendship with her ex-husband and very close friend, Paul, was a testament to her forgiving nature and her belief in the power of enduring bonds.

Stacy's legacy is one of love, laughter, and selflessness. Her unwavering support and unconditional love for her family will continue to guide them. Her laughter, which could light up the darkest of rooms, will echo in the memories of those who loved her. And her selfless nature, always putting others before herself, will inspire acts of kindness in her honor.

A memorial will be held for Stacy on December 28th, 2023 at the G.M.P hall on Hudson Avenue in Newark OH, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm to share memories and celebrate what a wonderful woman and mother she was.
