Shelby "Shorty" Snyder Sr.

Shorty D. Snyder Sr., 71, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family early Wednesday June 24th, 2020. He was born on September 20th, 1948 in Arlington, VA. He was the son of the late Frank Sr. and Florence Virginia Snyder. In addition to to his parents he is also preceded in death by his son Shelby D. Snyder Jr.; a brother, Frank Snyder Jr.; a sister-in-law, Sue Snyder; and a granddaughter, Alison Nicole Harvey. On September 17th, 1976 in Titusville, FL he married his wife of 43 years, Mary (Boltz) Snyder and she survives in Bellefontaine, OH. He is also survived by his children, Shelia (Larry Stephenson) Coffee and Natalie Long and Robert Long; seven brothers Robbie, Gary, Ronnie, Rocky, Ricky, Timmy, and Jamie; and four sisters, Bonnie, Judy, Kathy and Tammy; grandchildren Mikey, Kristina, Tyler, Bethany, Loren, Troy, Justin, Alex, Alayna, Xavier and Keaton; great grandchildren, Kynleigh, Annie, Kyler, Gabby, Brooklynn (B), and Braxton (Lil Fart). Shorty was a longtime Mechanic, a devoted husband, and a very loving father, grandfather, and friend. As Shorty's wishes there will be no services planned, there will be a private memorial service held at a later date.
