Sharon Kuntz, 81, of Columbus, Ohio lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer on October 19, 2022.
Sharon was born on March 8,1941 in Marysville, Ohio and was the daughter of Lawrence & Mary Neibler.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her youngest sister Judy.
Sharon was a graduate of West High School in Columbus, Ohio and a proud graduate of Otterbein University where she majored in French and Education. She taught in Columbus City schools and later transitioned into the corporate world where she worked as a Trainer. Through her development in Training she moved into organizational consulting where she travelled throughout the globe working with some of the worlds largest corporations. She finished her career as a Director in Human Resources.
She loved people and excelled at building strong friendships. She vacationed with a core group of friends throughout most of her retirement. She spent many hours playing tennis, playing games, walking the beaches collecting shells and dining with her dearest friends. She was the family historian and spent many hours putting together the family genealogy. She was also the one to plan and organize many family reunions and can be credited for keeping the family close. She was a very devoted grandmother and dedicated much of her life loving her 9 grandchildren.
Sharon will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by her children Jodi (Mike), Jill & Jerry (Debbie), her siblings Beverly and Johnny (Bonnie), grandchildren Josh, Alex (Sarah), Eric (Renee), John, Adalie, Alicia (Collin), Kyle (Sam), Courtney & Jonah and her many great grandchildren. She is also leaving behind many extended family members, including cousins, and friends she loved and treated as close family. Sharon had so much love to share, and her heart was full when she was with her family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Marysville Trinity Lutheran church November 11, 2022 at 1pm followed by burial at Marysville’s Oakdale Cemetery.
