Sharon Kay Hicks

Sharon Kay Hicks, born December 30, 1949, of Rockbridge, Ohio passed away peacefully on December 11, 2022. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She wholeheartedly loved her family. She enjoyed sewing, bird watching, camping, auctions, meeting with her Red Hat group, and spending time with her family and friends. Sharon collected tea cups and Hull pottery. She was fond of traveling with her husband to various rendezvous, shoots, and even fishing.

Sharon is survived by her adoring husband of 32 years, Timothy Hicks of Rockbridge. She leaves behind her son Ian (Jessica) Sargent of Pleasantville, stepson Joshua (Stephanie) Hicks of Lancaster, along with many grandchildren.Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Nola Raver, and her brother Roland Raver. She leaves behind her brother Thomas Raver of Pleasantville, sister Darlene (Breck) Hardy of Carroll, brother Robert (Judy) Raver of Lancaster, and nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends and extended family.

Sharon shone a light to all who knew her, brightening the lives of all that she had contact with. She had a contagious smile and loved to laugh and joke. She will be dearly missed and loved.
