On Wednesday evening July 7, 2021 we lost a huge part of our hearts, at home surrounded by her children Sharon passed away. She went by many names to most of you she was Sharon Christine Goff. To us she was Mom, to our children and many others she was ‘Mom Goff’, ‘Mom Mom’ or Grandma and to so many more she was friend. But no matter the term you used to identify your connection with her, our descriptions would all include Kind, loving, loyal, hardworking, compassionate and supportive. Sharon (Mom) was always the first person to offer a helping hand, lend an ear, to her loved ones… she ALWAYS had our backs. She was a perfect example of strength and courage, she showed this in many of life’s circumstances not the least being her diagnosis of cancer. When faced with the grim odds she chose her own path, fought and lived 5 more good years loving her family. She was born in Port Clinton, OH to Roger and Mary Irene Agin. Her father worked Highway construction so she spent many of her childhood years in different locations and schools. She met her former husband Donald G Goff while attending Zanesville High School. They had 3 children. Stacie Goff West, Brad Goff (Michelle Yarger) and Irene (Jay) Spargrove. Grandchildren were her true love; Abigail (West) Miszewski, Samantha, Carson, and Coulton West, Lakyn Goff and Lainey Spargrove, Karley, Claire and Chloe Goff and 2 great grandchildren. Also survived by Special niece Sharon Smith Whitley and friend Dave St Clair. She worked in management for Odd Lots for many years. She will be having a sweet reunion with her grandparents, parents, brothers Earl and Denver Agin, sister June Smith and Granddaughter Madison Elizabeth and Grandson Zane Bradley. We ask that you join us on Saturday July 31 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church 400 Pleasant Grove Road, Zanesville OH 43701 Visitation with family will be from 10 am - 12 pm Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm with a light lunch and gathering to follow. All are welcome to share their memories of our mom Sharon. Also any special memories or recollections written down to share and read later would be appreciated. ❤️ Her ashes will be laid to rest along side of her Parents and grandchildren at Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery In lieu of flowers feel free to send us a card and donate to a charity. Sharon loved Senior dog rescues, Community gardens and helping kids learn to read.
