Sean Andrew Ooley

Sean Ooley, 47, of Flemingsburg, KY peacefully gained his wings on November 9th, 2021 at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, OH. He was born on August 17, 1974 in Los Angeles, CA. He is the son of the late Charles Ooley and the late Carolyn Perkins Ooley. He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and a cousin Danny Barbiera, who was raised as a brother. He is survived by his sister Mindy Ooley of Flemingsburg KY and her daughters Sophia Ooley and Aaliyah Carrillo who He loved and adored and helped raise as his own. An aunt Paula Williams if Irving,TX. Cousins Larry Williams of Irving TX, Brandie Watson and husband Ardis of Andrews, TX, and several other cousins in Kentucky and Texas. He graduated from Fleming County High in 1992. He was a member of The Church of the Nazarene in Flemingsburg KY where he was an active member and loved helping out with youth group activities. He loved his family, his church family, and his little hometown. He was a great friend to many and will be greatly missed and always remembered for his love of the Lord, his bravery in the midst of constant chaos, and the loyalty to his family and friends. A celebration of life service will be help at The Flemingsburg church of the Nazarene in Flemingsburg, KY on December 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. There will be a short visitation hour at 1:00 p.m. Anyone who knew and loved Sean is welcome to come celebrate his life. The family would like to thank Vanceburg Nursing and Rehab in Vanceburg, KY for the loving care he received from them for the last 3 years, and the great Dr's, Nurses, and supporting staff of The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, OH. They would also like to thank the community for all the prayers, love, and support they have shown throughout these difficult times.
