Sandra L. Adkins

Sandra L. Adkins, 69 of Piketon, Ohio passed away at 5:05pm January 30,2021 at Adena Regional Hospital. She was born November 5, 1951 in Cincinnati Ohio to the late Omar and Mattie Lacey. She is preceded in death by a son Robert Neal and ex-husband and friend Donald McLeod, 3 sisters and 6 brothers. She was a caregiver that enjoyed caring for others, she knew no stranger. She loved to watch movies, listen to her music, and play cards. She loved gardening and flowers. She was a loving sister, daughter, mother, and grandmother. She will greatly missed by all who knew her. This world will be a little darker without her. She is survived by 2 sisters, Tami Bolin of Grove City, Ohio and Louwana Marcum of Merritt Island, Florida; 2 daughters, Krissy (Joe) Sears of Waverly, Ohio, Margaret (Bill) Gambill of Piketon Ohio; 7 grandchildren, Sarah (Ethan) Harris of Piketon, Ohio, Allison Sears of Waverly, Ohio, River (Cheyenne) Sears of Waverly Ohio, Matt (Brook) McRoberts of Piketon Ohio, Jacob, Levi, and JJ McRoberts of Piketon Ohio; 7 great grandchildren; any nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. And many special friends she considered family. In lieu of flowers contributions will be appreciated. There will be a celebration of life memorial for her at a later date.
