Sally Ann Landers

September 1, 1934 — March 21, 2021

Sally Ann Landers, 86, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away in the presence of family on March 21st, 2021. She was born September 1st, 1934 in Watertown, New York and was the daughter of the late Albert and Elgitha Christie. She was preceded in death by former husband, Theodore Anthony; her sisters, Joan Christie, Linda Campbell, brothers Timothy and Robert (Jim) Christie. Sally loved to read and had a small library of over 300 books by authors such as Heather Graham, Nora Roberts, James Patterson and Lee Child. When not reading, she would make counted cross-stich pictures on clothes and sayings for framing. She caught the quilting bug and that was it. She made some amazing quilts, no two were alike, we will always cherish the time and love she put into each creation. Sally was a loving mother, grandmother and good friend. There is nothing she wouldn’t do for her family. She will be greatly missed and our home will be forever a little emptier. Sally is survived by her brother, Tom Christie, his wife Linda; brother in law, Jim Campbell; son, Theodore Alan and his wife Deborah. She had four grandchildren, Thomas Andrew Landers, Christopher Michael Landers, Carrie Ann Leggett and Alan Jacob Stamper. There is a surprising total of 9 great grandchildren. Sally was never alone, she really loved cats. She always had one or two little ones around her. She was an advocate of Cat Welfare and would adopt/rescue whenever one would pass. We will be scheduling a Celebration of Life near her birthday in September 2021. Please, make a memorial contribution in lieu of flowers to: Cat Welfare, 741 Wetmore Rd Cols, Oh. 43214 (www.catwelfareassoc.org).
