Rose Marie Maynard

Rose Maynard, 73 years old, Thornville, Ohio, passed away 2/26/2023. Rose was born in San Francisco, CA and is preceeded in death by her mother, step-father and two brothers.

Rose retired from DCSC as a contract specialist working to secure parts for a variety of Department of Defense vehicles. Rose leaves behind a daughter Grace Wentzel (Brian), granddaughter Evelynne Waugh (Richard) and soon to be great-grandchild, along with many family members and friends who will deeply miss her fun-spirit, dance moves, strong faith, kindness, and caring.

Rose loved spending time with her family and animals (Buddy the Frog and her grand dogs: Lenny, Luna and Theo), looking for four leaf clovers, shopping with her granddaughter, going to the casino with her friends, listening to music, reading and working jigsaw puzzles.

In lieu of a service, a party in Rose's honor was held in December 2022 to celebrate her while she was still with us- she had a blast dancing with her closest family and friends! We would like to thank everyone who have provided meals, love and support during her illness.

The family requests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society In lieu of flowers.
