Ronnie Taylor

Ronnie (Ron) Eugene Taylor, 48, of Ashley, Ohio, went to meet Jesus in heaven on November 22nd, 2024, after a 25 year battle with lung disease.

Ron was born July 16th, 1976 in Cleveland, Ohio to Sharon Lowery and Michael L Taylor.

Ron spent the last few years, along with his loving wife, traveling around the state. Ron was always eager to learn about and experience new places. He loved his frogs, and had a huge collection. He felt that his purpose was to love frogs and all animals. Ron was an amazing cook, and was always inviting people over to test his new recipes. He also checked off a life goal, despite his disability, and began working with Creative Foundations as a Direct Support Professional, supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities. Ron was so proud of his work.

Ron's quirky humor and love for other people will deeply be missed. He loved all of his friends and family equally, and wished for a day when they could all come together. He wouldn't want his loved ones to be sad about his death. He would want them to be happy, and remember him for who he was in life. He would want all of you to joke, and laugh, to tell funny stories about him, and to remember him for the good times, and the life he got to live. Ron was always working on living his best life, and he would want you all to continue to do the same.

Left to cherish Ron's memory is his mother Sharon Alberts (Lowery), father Michael L Taylor; brothers Michael (Steve) Taylor and Homer Taylor; adult children Jonathan Taylor and Marisa Taylor; loving wife of 14 months, Angie Taylor; and her children Christian, Tyler and Hayley. Ron was a proud grandfather, loving and so proud of his grandchildren, and leaves behind 4 grandchildren Elijah, Izabella (Izzy) and Ronan, River (in utero). He also leaves behind his loving companion, chihuahua Olivia, who misses him dearly. Ron had so many lifelong friends, more to count, especially his lifelong brothership with his friend Scott, and friend Meter.

Even though on hospice, Ron was so full of life and his death still came as a shock to those who loved him. The family is requesting for peace at this time as they transition to a life without Ron, and will be having a Celebration of life at a later date.

The family would love to give a special thank you to Ron's hospice team at Heartland Hospice, especially Pastor Kevin, Jaime, Marie, and his whole nurse team. Because Ron was such an avid animal lover he would have liked to have donations in his honor sent to Humane Society of Delaware County Ohio.
