Ronald J. Nelisher

Our beloved father Ronald J. Nelisher passed away at his home on August 7th after a long and heroic battle with cancer. Born in Canton Ohio to the late Vivian A. Patterson and John P. Nelisher he was preceded in death by his wife Mabel Teresa (Scribner) and his son-in-law Alec Berdanier. He is survived by his son Randy Nelisher of Myrtle Beach S.C., daughters; Jennifer Berdanier, of Senecaville, Lorie (Bruce) Ward of Massillon, grandchildren; Bruce (Sara), Jessica, Collin and Connor; great grandchildren; Carter and Dakota, sisters; Karen Gonda and Joyce (Greg) Triner; many nieces nephews and special friends Jean and Joe Clarkson. Ron graduated from Timken High School (1962) and University of Akron he went on to become an electrician for Ford Motor Company until his retirement. In his spare time he loved to travel. Ron’s family meant more to him than anything else in the world and he worked tirelessly to ensure we had everything we needed. He faced every challenge in life with admirable strength and courage. He was always there for us whether we needed help with our homework or a shoulder to cry on. Father you are now at peace but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest in peace. Cremation has taken place and the family will hold a celebration of life at his home 59340 Honeybee Rd. Senecaville, Ohio. Date to be announced.
