Robert M. Huff

It's with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert M. Huff, 64, of Lancaster Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his father, Paul L. Huff, of Syracuse, New York.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia A. Nestor, of Lancaster Ohio, siblings, Lynn, Jeanette, Leif, Jr., Deanna, and Steven, Sr.. Many nieces and nephews, and his special friend of 29 years, Tami Nestor.

Bob was born in Syracuse, New York, but raised in Southern California.

In later years, he moved to Lancaster to be closer to family. He graduated from High School in 1977. He was a member of the Painters Union.

As a boy in San Diego, most days you could usually find him on a baseball field or surfing an early morning wave before the sun came up while the tides were high.

He was in his element while outdoors enjoying his favorite activities including fishing, baseball, and gardening.

He was an avid 49ers fan, so much so, he named his faithful canine companion, Niners. You would often see Niners walking at Bob's side near Cenci Lake.

He enjoyed gardening, and took great pleasure in surprising his friends and family with his homegrown veggies.

With respect to his sudden passing, and grieving family and friends, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
