Robert Lee Kelley

Robert Lee Kelley Jr., (Sony), age 62, of Lancaster, OH, passed away peacefully early evening on February 12th, 2024. Around 4:41pm. He was a beloved father, grandfather and friend. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Lee Kelley Sr, his grandson Aidan Raez Kelley, nieces Michelle and Jodi Morris of Georgia. Born on May 2, 1961, remarkable life filled with love, laughter, cherished memories and countless funny stories chronicling his life. He was a devoted boyfriend of 20 plus years to Janet Kessler, who survives him and a dedicated father with an unbreakable bond that inspired all who knew him as he poured his heart and soul into providing for his family, guiding them with his wisdom, compassion and caring. Throughout his life, Robert was known for always being the life of the party. He usually never resisted going to any event weather it was for family or friends. Yet once he arrived at such a function, he was the most announced. Never a dull moment. He had a passion for spending time soaking up the sun, out on a fishing boat or out in the garage often times with an ice-cold beer. He was always working or somethings and up to something Robert will be dearly missed by his daughter, Ashley Kelley as well as his “Grampy-daddy babies” (grand children); Breonna, Karter and Isaiah Kelley. Along with his son, Joshua Kelley grandchildren; Calvin, Owen, Harper Kelley and 2 other daughters; Cortney Forrest (grand children -Jensen Braxton, Makenna and Ava.) Tiffany Stafford (grandson—Andrew) also extended grand kids; Dantae Kessler, Lillyana Kessler, Jade Kessler, Gunner Kessler, Wyatt Kessler and Hailey Kessler family and countless friends and neighbors. Though Sony may no longer be with us in body, his spirit shall live on in all of us who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory be a blessing and may he rest in eternal peace.
