Robert Amos Winegardner

Robert Amos Winegardner, age 75, of Lancaster, Ohio peacefully passed away on April 12, 2022, in his wife’s arms at FAIRHOPE Pickering House. Bob was a member of the Freemasonry and American Legion Post 11. He was a hardworking, charismatic, joyful man who loved his family, fishing, western movies (especially starring John Wayne), GTO’s, The Ohio State Buckeyes and anything John Deere. Bob is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rose (Hamilton) Winegardner, his daughters, Jodi Wright and Tami (Darren) Bruns; his son, Philip Winegardner, his stepdaughter, Suzanne (Robert) Hugunin, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; sister, Sally (Ben) Baker; brother, Joe (Joyce) Winegardner and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mary (McAfee) Winegardner; sister, Rose Bresler and brothers, Stanley Winegardner, Roger Winegardner, Merle Winegardner and Gerald Winegardner. A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held June 11, 2022, at a location to be determined. Memorial donations may be made in Bob’s name to the American Heart Association.
