Rita Marie Love

Rita Marie Love, aged 61, passed away peacefully on March 12th 2025, at Grant Medical Center. She was born on November 26th,1963 in Columbus Ohio, to Jean Delores Russell and Russell Ward. 

She was a proud resident of Columbus and was a 1981 graduate of Central High School. She married Jimmy Love on May 5th 1983, in Panama. She worked as a Telecommunications consultant with Ameritech, displaying wonderful problem solving skills. Rita was very outgoing and loved creating everlasting memories with family and friends. Rita always had the ability to make anyone smile. 

She is survived by her mother Jean (Charles) Banks; her husband, Jimmy; her sons, Jimmy & Andre’ (Kyler) Love; grandchildren Janiyah & Zariah Love; and many cousins. 

Family, friends, and others are invited to the Love Family’s Home, at 2:00pm, March 22nd, to reminisce and honor the life of Rita Marie Love.
