Richard Lackey

Richard J. Lackey, 68, of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 5th, 2024.

Rick was born eighth of nine children in Columbus to Charles and Frances Lackey.

He was an employee of Legal Aid Society of Columbus for thirty-eight years. His true calling, however, shone in his dedication to Christ. Rick served his community through various forms of ministry for decades, touching countless lives with a humble heart and a faith that never wavered.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of forty-three years, Frances; his three children, Francie, Rick, and Eva; and his four grandchildren, Gavin, Caleb, Bowie, and Gabe.

A memorial will be held in his honor from 12-2 p.m. on July 28th, 2024 at the Obetz Community Center at 1650 Obetz Rd, Obetz, Ohio 43207.
