Circleville resident Richard “Dick” Penn, age, 79 died October 17th, 2020, at his home in Circleville, Ohio. Dick was was born June 18th, 1941 in Lucasville, Ohio. He was preceded in death by parents Blanchard and Imogene Penn and brother Terry Penn. Dad grew up in Lucasville, Ohio where he attended Lucasville Valley High School. He was a member of the basketball team and an avid Boy Scout with the Order of the Arrow distinction. After his retirement from the Columbus Police Department, he developed many career interests including real estate and auctioneering; he loved selling people’s collectibles and collecting a bit himself. Most recently he was the owner and operator of Papa Duck’s Kettle Corn. In his leisure time he enjoyed traveling, horseback riding, motorcycling, his cabin, and working on everything with the ability to fix most things. He is survived by his loving girlfriend Tina Raines, former wife Ann Penn, son Brian (Cindy), daughter Stacy (Jeremy) Russell, grandchildren Max and Maddie Penn and Austin, Rylee and Taylor Russell, brother Phil (Gail), and several nieces and a nephew. And lastly, our dad didn’t meet a stranger; he will be missed by many life long friends.
