Rhonda Lynn Najdowski

Rhonda Lynn (Carson) Najdowski, age 56, passed away on June 5th, 2021. She was born on November 8th, 1964 in Grove City, Ohio as the youngest child of the late Frank and Mary Carson. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Linda Distelhorst. Rhonda spent her life in central Ohio. She graduated from Grove City High School in 1982, where she ran Track and Field and played in the marching and jazz bands. Her kindness, hard work ethic, and ability to connect with others served her well in her retail career of 20 years at JCPenney, Von Maur, and Sears. Rhonda’s greatest life achievement was creating a beautiful family full of love. Indeed, she poured her energy into her family, always making holidays special and every day brighter with special treats, laughter, and good conversation. Rhonda had many interests, including cooking, gardening, coffee, baseball, history, travel, her dogs, playing games, and spending time outdoors hiking and fishing. She is survived by her devoted husband of 15 years, Paul of Newark, OH; her adoring children, Megan (Neil) Schoenblum, Eric Hatfield, and Jackson Holloway; her step-children, Eddy (Wendy) Najdowski, Emma (Edgar) Izaguirre, Jared Najdowski, and Ian Najdowski; her siblings, Gary (Valerie) Carson and Diane (Stephen) Norris; her grandchildren, Logan, Bailey, Cooper, and Sabrina; and her dogs, Max, Fred, and Hank. She will be remembered as a kind, easygoing, playful, and considerate wife and mother who brought joy into our lives. She will be eternally missed.
