Ray Maxel Pennington

Ray Maxil Pennington, age 86 of Dayton, OH passed away on Saturday September 17, 2022 to join his beloved wife Rosemary Pennington.

Born in Kentucky and longtime resident of Dayton, OH, Ray worked at Chrysler before retiring after 30 years. He also cooked on weekends at the famous Golden Nugget on weekends for nearly the same amount of time. Ray was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing pool, watching sports especially his favorite teams - The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. Ray was a Master Mason, raised on 06/18/1986 and longtime member of the Farmersville Masonic Lodge #482. He was also an active and donating member to the American Veterans Post #24 (AMVets).

He is survived by his three children, Michael Pennington (wife Tanya), Patricia Pearl (Trish) (husband Jeremy), and Kimberly Burns (husband David), Ray’s five grandchildren Justin, Brandon, Travis, Jedzya, and Tressa, and two great-grandchildren Isabella and Brooke. Also, his long time friend and companion Cheryl Newborn and her family.

Ray will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
