Rasheeda Monique Stevens

October 9, 1982 — February 17, 2025

Rasheeda Monique Stevens, a member of the Lord’s body, a daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many, peacefully entered into eternal rest in God’s care on February 17, 2025 at the age of 42.

Rasheeda Monique was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 9, 1982 and was the daughter of Kathy Stevens Paige and the late Carter Moore.

Rasheeda, fondly called Monique by family and friends was a 2001 graduate of Mifflin High School and had previously been employed by the Discover Corporation in Phoenix, AZ.

Monique was known for her tender heart and unwavering dedication to animals, particularly cats. She lovingly cared for not only her own beloved cats, but also had a profound compassion for stray cats, offering them shelter, nourishment and kindness.

Monique was highly skilled with computers. She could effortlessly navigate technology with a natural aptitude. Her expertise and willingness to assist others made her a go-to resource for troubleshooting, advise and mastering new tools.

She was a devoted member of the Watkins Road church of Christ and attended the Tonto Road church of Chirst when in Phoenix, where her faith shone brightly. She often shared uplifting scripture and words of encouragement offering comfort and inspiration to those around her.

Monique had a deep maternal love for her nieces and nephew, showering them with care, guidance and affection, Her nurturing presence was a source of comfort and strength in their lives, and she took immense joy in watching them grow. Her love for them was endless. Leaving an indelible mark on their hearts and lives.

Monique is preceded in death by her biological father and nephew Brandon Neal.

Rasheeda Monique leaves to always remember her love, kindness and witty personality her parents, Kathy Stevens Paige and Ricky (Karen) Paige, Brothers; Jason Stevens and Troy Mixon, sister; Erika Stevens, nephew; Taimario “TJ” Stevens, nieces; Mia and Talia Woods and Kendra Stevens. And a special and devoted friend of many years, Ruthann Collins.
