Randol Phillip Ford, age 68, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2020, in Pataskala, Ohio. He was born in Columbus, to the late Roy and Mildred (Hubach) Ford. He was an over the road truck driver for the U. S Postal Service, Robinson Transport, and finally retired from PCC Transportation in 2016. He tried to be home every Sunday to watch his NASCAR races. He fought in the Vietnam War, serving in the U S ARMY. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and he will be deeply missed. Survived by his loving wife of 24 years Penny K. (Peterman), children; Carrie Lassahn, Misty Turner, Angela O’Connor, Charles Ford and Randy Ford, grandchildren; Kaylee, Brittany, Taylor, Eleanor, Logan, Ashton, Sydney, and Selena, brothers; Roy A. (Judith) Ford, and Charles Ford, sister-in-law; Ester Ford, chosen daughter Monica Jarrell, and his cat Fur Baby Piper. He was preceded in death by one brother William Ford. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at The Pataskala Church of Christ, 9132 Blacks Rd, Pataskala, OH 43062, where services will be held at 3:00 pm, with Roger Massey officiating. Military Honors will be conducted following services at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Leaf Cremation.
