Rachel Louise Johnson

Rachel L. Johnson, 76, of Columbus, Ohio passed away at her home on Sunday December 15th, 2024.

She was born February 3rd, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of the late Thomas L. And Rachel (Roebuck) Johnson.

Surviving are her children: David K. Johnson, Yvette Hogan, Roni (Chuck) Sims and Brian (Gwen) Lewis; siblings: Diana Johnson and Oscar (Minnie) Davis; 13 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. As well as her close friend Shirley Kirby. 

Rachel was a resident of Dayton, Ohio for nearly five decades before relocating to Columbus. She was an avid reader that also enjoyed crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, and bus excursions. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.

A private memorial service will be held to honor her life.
