Phillip Dale Melott, Sr.

Phillip Dale Melott Sr. passed away at home April 11th, 2023, after following a long-term illness.

Phillip was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Josephine Kay (Sullivan) Melott, and an infant daughter Malinda Jo Melott.

Phillip is survived by his five children, Bonnie (Joseph) Merschdorf of Florida, Phillip Melott Jr of Frankfort, Karen Melott of McArthur, Earl (Christina) Melott of Chillicothe and Shawna (Lester/Lee) Melching of North Carolina.

His grandchildren Malinda (David) Degarmo of Chillicothe, Nathaniel/Nate (Shania) Ward of Frankfort, Jennifer/Jenn (Scott) Music of Hillsboro, Joseph Ward of McArthur, Marissa (Dalton) Gray of Chillicothe, Justine (Will) Ratliff of Florida, Jasmine (Matt) Ratliff of Chillicothe, Logan Melott of Chillicothe, Staff Sergeant Peter (Nicolette) Merschdorf of Idaho, and Sam Merschdorf of Florida.

Phillip also has 10 great grandchildren that he loved very much.

Phillip will be missed by all and loved by many. May he rest in peace.

A private memorial will be held amongst close family and friends.
