Peggy Corns, 87, of Heath, Ohio passed away peacefully with her daughter Beth at her side, on Sept 6, 2022.
She was born in Wayland Kentucky on August 30, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Charlie and Agnes Graves.
She was a loving wife, precious mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. And she was the BEST friend to her baby girl. Her biggest achievement was being a kind soul to any person or animal she would meet. Her heart was as big as her smile and she was the happiest when feeding someone a meal, snuggling a kitty cat, or sitting on her porch in the sunshine. Peggy loved her family more than anything. Except maybe shopping, shoes or chocolate! The world will shine a little less bright without her in it.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Charles Graves, two sisters: Evelyn Mullins and Lou Scott, grandson Jack Allen, her extra special kitty Riske Marie and beloved precious husband Wayne.
She is survived by her loving daughter Beth Caldwell, son Ed Corns (Leeana), daughters: Lori Corns Allen and Karey Wilke, granddaughters: Christina Mireles and Tabatha Allen, grandsons: Aiden Corns, Eric Allen and David Allen. And her grandson William Caldwell with whom she shared a very special bond. "Sweet Tooth Granny" loved her "Tater". Many special nieces and nephews, very special brother-in-law Ralph Scott, great grandchildren and forever friends.
In honoring Peggy's wishes no funeral will be held at this time. A celebration of life may be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a local Humane Society, American Lung Association, or a reputable Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief Fund.
You truly are "My Sunshine" and will be deeply and forever missed.
We will carry you in our hearts forever Mommy.
