Pamela Lynn Sawyer

Pamela Lynn Sawyer, 66, of Newark, Ohio and Kingman, Arizona, passed away on Nov 20th, 2022.

She was born June 15th, 1956, in Newark, Ohio, the third daughter of 6 children to her parents, Samuel Sawyer of Newark, Ohio, and Naomi Vogelsong of Kingman, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, and her brothers Roger Sawyer and Kenny Sawyer.

When Pamela was younger, she was in small-town beauty pageants and loved to sing whenever she could be on stage. Her favorite things were singing karaoke, being with friends, and visiting family. Pamela enjoyed traveling when she could and lived in California, Ohio, and Arizona. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles where she served as chaplain in Kingman, Arizona.

She will be missed by her daughter Crystal (Ben) Stamper with 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson, daughter Tiffany (Phillip) Ayer with 2 granddaughters, son Derek Evans with 1 granddaughter including his girlfriend Jessica Hawley and 1 step-grandson, and daughter Brittany Baldauf with 4 grandchildren including her boyfriend Tyler Kast.

She was a loving sister to her big sisters Marsha Gabriel, Barbara Brewer, and baby sister Kandy Clemings. Her memory will live on with her boyfriend Robert "Van" Hemelryck of Kingman, Arizona. She will be missed by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pamela's funeral to celebrate her life will be held at St. Francis de Sales Church, 40 Granville Street, Newark, Ohio 43055 on December 10th at 10:30 am. The family is glad to welcome anyone attending and will enjoy sharing memories of their mother. She will be laid to rest at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Newark, Ohio.
