Nicholas Anthony Basso

Nicholas Anthony Basso, known to some as Nick and to family as Tony, was born on May 30, 1982 at Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Nick died of a sudden heart attack on February 13, 2025 at Riverside Methodist Hospital at the age of 43. He was the son of Nicholas Andrew Basso (deceased) and Sarah J. Basso. Tony graduated from Upper Arlington H.S. and DeVry University. 

He was known for his computer knowledge and was currently employed as an instructor of Cyber Security at the Delaware Area Career Center. 

He is preceded in death by his father Andrew, his uncles Roger and Kirk, his aunt Lisa, his paternal grand parents Milla Y. and Nicholas Angelo Basso. He is survived by his mother Sarah, his life partner Mark and Marks’ parents Dannie and Christine Queen, and his step brother Christopher N. Basso and many friends. 

He possessed an enormous intellect and had a huge capacity for love, even for he and Marks pet rats.
