Michael S. Knapp

Michael S. Knapp, age 71, of Pickerington, OH, passed away surrounded by his family on January 1, 2022. He was born on November 7, 1950 in Cincinnati, OH, son of the late Donald and Gloria Knapp (Schenz). Mike graduated from Deer Park High School in 1969 and completed two years of college at the University of Cincinnati. He served two years in the United States Army and was a member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion. Mike loved all kinds of sports, especially coaching his sons and watching his grandchildren play. He married Marie Asalone in June of 1974 and celebrated 47 plus years of marriage. He is survived by his two sons, Kevin (Jennifer) and Ryan (Bailey) and grandchildren Parker, Corinne, Reagan, and Dominic, and also his four brothers Greg, Bob, Barry and Mark, and many nieces and nephews. He will always be known by his family and friends as “Big Chicken” and “Whimpy”!
