Michael Ore Emerick

Michael Ore Emerick, 75, of Columbus, Ohio passed away of February 17, 2023. He was born on February 8, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio and was the son of the late Zeke and Elva Emerick. Mike was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother Larry Emerick and sister-in-law Bobbie Emerick of Wisconsin.

Mike graduated from Belmont High School in Dayton and from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. While in high school, Mike was a member of the Belmont Football team, Wrestling team and the track team. While attending school at Ohio State University, Mike was a part of the U. S. Army ROTC program.

After graduation from Ohio State, Mike became a teacher and coach. His real passion was coaching wrestling. He also loved to play golf.

Mike will be greatly missed and is survived by his nephew Daniel (Mary) Emerick and nieces Tonia (Randy) Rammelt, Kris (Chris) Falk all of Wisconsin. He is also survived by many great and great great nieces and nephews.
