Melanie Ann Lozano

Melanie Ann Lozano, 39, of Columbus, Ohio died early Sunday morning, November 7, 2021. She was born July 4, 1982 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was the daughter of the late Frankie Joe Lozano II, Mariellen Gillespie and step father, Matthew Gillespie. She was preceded in death by grandparents Frank and Jeannette Lozano, Fred and Helen Smith, and father Frankie Lozano. Melanie was a graduate of Miami Trace High School and continued her education as a graduate from Rets Tech Center in 2003 with a degree in licensed practical nursing. She will be remembered by her friends and family as a bright, fun loving, and boisterous personality. She is survived by beloved friend Charles Hill, mother and step father Mariellen and Matthew Gillespie, sisters Melissa Lozano, Michelle Lozano, Marsha Wissel and step brother Jason Gillespie. Also nieces and nephews, Madelyn, Macy, Mallory, and Maya Blodgett, Cathy and Ellie Moore, and Frankie Wissel. A private celebration of life for close friends and family will be announced at a later date.
