Thank you for loving Megan as your own. When you met her mother you gracefully accepted the responsibility of her children and even after her mother passed made sure to stay in Megan’s life. You were her dad and she loved you so much.

About Megan:

Megan was born in Columbus, Ohio and moved to Newark, Ohio when she was just a baby under 1 year old. She lived with her mother in Newark attending school in Newark until 2006. When her mother passed away Megan and her sister Whitney moved back to Columbus to live with their Aunt Karrie and Uncle John attending Hamilton High School and remained in the family home until she was 20 years old.

Megan had this way about her that she knew how to lift people up when they were down in life. Her silly and goofy personality was priceless to all that knew her. No matter what she was experiencing personally in life, she was always a bright light for those around her. Megan was a symbol of…

“Live-Laugh-Love”

Megan faced so many challenges and road blocks in this world after her mother’s passing. Her mom passed away on Megan’s Birthday in 2006 and it took many years for Megan to be able to accept her passing but with time she was able to pick herself up and she stood tall and fought all the depression and grief and found faith and gained strength through her family and friends and GOD. Even though the world was rough for a long time for Megan, she never let it change her love for life, her family and friends. Every road block she encountered made her want to fight harder and in result made her stronger. Megan achieved her dream of her G.E.D. and she had a great and important job that she loved working at the Freedom Plasma and finally had her “home” and was so happy and proud of her accomplishments.

Megan read and shared daily quotes of inspiration and words of spiritual uplifting on her social media showing her commitment to living her best life and to the fullest.

“Trust your struggle”

“With pain comes strength”

“You deserve happiness, trust the process”

These were just a few of many quotes Megan lived by.

Megan had so many friends that she loved and that loved her. Megan had her circle and remained close with her circle. They were her “ride and die”….. her “people”. Each and every one of them was a huge part in Megan’s journey throughout various parts of her life.
