Max Allen Van Fossen

Max Allen Van Fossen of Kimbolton, Ohio went to heaven on April 10, 2022 following an extended illness. He was born on 12/02/1962 in Cambridge, Ohio and was the son of Harold Van Fossen (Phyllis) and Dorothy Adams (Wendell). He was preceded in death by grandparents Maywood and Mabel Van Fossen, Carl and Velma Black, brothers Kim Asher (Tami), Mike Adams (Betty), Doug Adams, and Greg Wiley. He was also preceded by nephew Mikey Adams and great niece Myah Knecht. Max's interests consisted of Ham radio, weather response team, mechanics, wood working, auto body, farming and he was a great animal lover. Max was a loving father, son, brother, cherished friend, and beloved cousin and will be sadly missed. Max is survived by his father Harold Van Fossen (Phyllis), mother Dorothy Adams (Wendell), Son Jestin Van Fossen, Sisters Jan Van Fossen, Sue Van Fossen, Becky Cooney (Greg), Tammy Fout (Russell), Roxanne Friermood (Giz), Cindy Brown (Jeff), and brother Randy Wiley (Kari). Max has many surviving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as several great great nieces and nephews. Additionally, he is survived by dear friends and loved ones, Linda Gautreaux, Larry Jarrell, Lovell, Connie Cote, Mat DeWitt and many more, all of whom he loved deeply. Max will also be sorely missed by his pet, Tickle (Tick). There will be a Memorial Service at Westwood Baptist Church, 2395 East Pike (Route 40) in Zanesville Ohio on May 7th, 2022 at 12:00 Noon. The service will be followed by a Carry-in Dinner immediately afterwards. All are invited to bring a covered dish to share and join in this time of fellowship and celebration of his life. Max's contagious smile will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He enjoyed life and said many times that he lived a rich, full life. Max's life is personified in his final words "I love you."
