Mary Jo Scott

Mary Jo Scott, age 71, of Belpre, Ohio died after a lengthy illness on November 21, 2021 at Continuing Healthcare at Forest Hill in Saint Clairsville, Ohio. She was born July 30, 1950, in Washington, Pa, the daughter of late George Randall Ward and Elizabeth Buchanan Ward. She was a 1968 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School in Washington, Pa. She is survived by her husband, William Scott of Belpre, her daughter, Dr. Traci Giles (Marshall) of Fort Mill, SC, her son Brian Miller (Candie) of McDonald, Pa. Also surviving are her brothers William R. Ward (Nina), John “Rick” Ward, Charles “Doug” Ward, as well as many nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her sister Margaret “Peggy” Gump, and her brother Jamie Ward. At Mary Jo’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
